Langemarckstr.

My first address in Germany - Langemarckstr. 62. Its across the river Weser. Its a part of the Neustadt or the New town. There is a Srilankan family that lives on the first floor. On my second day here, their house was broken into and robbed at 10 30 in the morning, while they were working downstairs in their store.

The room is 11 sq meters, which is small but quite comfortable for me at the moment. I share the house with three other people. I have this room till the end of March.

I've put Baking paper to cover my window at the moment.. but I think curtains of some kind would be a better idea..

I can't reach the microwave which is on top of the fridge. I am at least a few, perhaps several inches shorter than the rest. We share the fridge - in four sort of uneven parts - each of us is meant to have our own space, but we often use whatever space we find. H calls me the Little Indian. Sindhu she is maybe a bit taller than you. So are A and P.  All three of them are vegetarians.  H eats meat once in a while maybe. I am sort of happy not eating meat too.

I can't keep plants alive anywhere in the world. But I think I am not the only one with this curse.

I made it to Goa finally

In early Jan, right after new years, I went to Goa, for the first time ever (this comes as a shock to all people)
I have to admit, I really enjoyed myself, and I am glad I finally made it there!

Which brings me to - Why don't we celebrate 2 years of Carroteaters by the seaside somewhere?
About to land at sunset - Jan 3rd
First glimpse of the sea
On the last night - All of Goa still had their Christmas
decorations out.

Drummers Galore!

I had the best sunday in a long long time. The TamTams is this drum circle festival, where hundreds of people get together with all sorts of percussion instruments every sunday through the months of summer in this large park, and Jam. There are people dancing, playing music and chilling out. It was out of the world, literally. I cant tell you just how much i missed you two, and Gautam. I took all these pictures only to show you how much fun it was :) We have to come here together sometime.
