dialogue in the dark

i went for an experiential exhibit while i was in atlanta; as the name suggests, it was about giving people the experience of functioning in a space with lack of light.
i was a guided tour through a maze of things, things you could touch and smell and feel as you went along. our guide was visually impaired.
we were given walking sticks which became our eyes.
i cannot possibly describe the timelessness that i experienced when i was in there... everything that you think your body would remember merely becomes something you feel and let pass. you forget all turns you took, all the things you touched, everything you felt because you're so caught up in living the moment in its entirety.
i missed the touch of you both, and i now know how important it is to be within physical reach.
love and tears,
ink
